Cars
Six rarities, six models, five paint colours. How cars differ, what their stats mean and what PI is.
Six rarities, six models#
Every rarity has its own hand-built model. All brands and names are fictional. A higher rarity means a faster family of cars.

Common
Halden Jolt
A rally-bred 3-door hot hatch. Combustion. Where most players start.

Uncommon
Draco Fury
A 70s-style muscle fastback. Combustion.

Rare
Kraus Surge
A sharp, faceted electric coupe with a light blade.

Ultra Rare
Moriya Astra
A hybrid with lofted facets, velocity stacks and a swan-neck wing.

Epic
Rexford Titan
A modern muscle GT, the heaviest-looking car in the garage. Combustion.

Legendary
Vantor Cougar
A liquid-lined electric hypercar with a rear wing. The rarest of all.
The engine type (combustion, hybrid or electric) changes how the car looks and sounds: flames and backfires for combustion, pulses and lightning for electric. It does not change how fast the car is.
Two different ideas: rarity and colour#
A car has two separate labels, and it helps to keep them apart.
- Rarity (Common to Legendary) tells you which model it is and how fast its family is.
- Colour tells you how good this car is inside its rarity: Gray, White, Blue, Green or Red.
| Colour | Chance for each car |
|---|---|
| Gray | 45% |
| White | 28% |
| Blue | 17% |
| Green | 8% |
| Red | 2% |
The colours never overlap: the worst Red is always better than the best Green of the same rarity. A Red Common is still a Common, but it is the best Common there is. On the Epic and Legendary models, the colour even changes the parts of the car (wheels, wings, bodykit), so you can read a car's quality from across the room.
Cars from the Founders crate also carry a gold Founders edition badge (see Crates).
Stats in plain words#
| Stat | What it does for you |
|---|---|
| Power (hp) | Pushes the car through the gears. More power, quicker acceleration. |
| Torque (Nm) | Helps the launch and the middle of each gear. |
| Weight (kg) | Lighter cars accelerate faster. |
| Top speed (km/h) | How fast the car goes in the last gear. |
| PI | One number that sums the car up. See below. |
PI: performance index#
PI is a single number to compare cars quickly. Higher is faster. Every rival on the world tour has a PI too, so the game can tell you at a glance whether a stage is easy, fair or hard for your car. When your car is tuned, the PI shows a "+" with the gain.
As a rough guide, each rarity lives in its own PI band, from about 330 for a weak Common up to about 1,050 for the best Legendary. Neighbouring bands overlap a little, so a great Uncommon can beat a poor Rare.
Grade#
Each car also has a grade from 1.0 to 10.0 shown on a graded-card slab when you open it. It tells you how good the car is compared to others of the same rarity (Good, Very Good, Excellent, Near Mint, Mint, Gem). It is for show: PI is what counts on the track.
Born with it, and tuned later#
A car's colour, grade and base stats are fixed for life: they are written in its "birth certificate". What you can change is the tune (see Workshop), which adds a bonus on top without changing the car's identity.
