TORQ

Wallet, deposits and withdrawals

How devnet test TORQ moves between your wallet and the game, what a withdrawal costs, the automatic security check and the trust levels.

Two kinds of TORQ balance#

  • In game: the balance the game shows next to your name. While you play, it is a number kept by the game's server. You spend it on crates, the workshop, tickets and wagers, and it is where pot shares, prizes and Market sales arrive.
  • In your wallet (devnet): TORQ tokens in your own Solana wallet. The game shows it next to the in-game balance.

You move TORQ between the two with the on-chain wallet panel (click your $TORQ balance in the top bar, or open the driver menu and choose On-chain wallet). It has three tabs: Deposit, Withdraw and History.

The game publishes a live proof of reserves: the tokens in its wallets against what players are owed. See the Transparency page of the website.

Switch your wallet to Devnet#

Your wallet does not tell the game which network it is on, so the game cannot switch it for you. If it stays on Mainnet, deposits will fail or your test TORQ will not show up.

  1. Open your wallet and go to Settings.
  2. Phantom: Developer Settings, turn on Testnet Mode, then choose Solana Devnet. Solflare and Backpack: pick Devnet in the wallet's network setting.
  3. Come back to the game and connect. Signing in is free and never moves funds.

Getting ready for devnet#

  1. Switch your wallet to devnet. In Phantom: Settings, Developer Settings, Testnet Mode, Solana Devnet. Solflare and Backpack have a similar network setting.
  2. Devnet SOL for fees. The first time you sign in with a wallet that has very little SOL, the game sends it a small amount of devnet SOL by itself (once per wallet and with daily limits), so you can pay the network fees. It has no value either.
  3. Test TORQ. The first time you sign in with a wallet you receive 750,000 test TORQ in game.

Deposits#

  1. Open Deposit and type an amount (whole TORQ, with a minimum shown on the screen).
  2. The game prepares one transfer from your wallet to the game's deposit address. Your wallet shows it and asks you to approve. Read what it shows: the token, the amount and the address.
  3. The panel follows the steps: Sent, Confirmed on-chain, Credited in game. The credit happens when the network has fully finalized the transfer, which can take a little while.

Withdrawals#

  1. Open Withdraw and type an amount (minimum shown on the screen).
  2. The game shows a quote before you confirm: the fee, what you receive and when it will arrive, with the reason.
  3. Confirm. You can follow the progress: Requested, Security check, Sent, Confirmed.

What it costs#

A withdrawal costs a small fee that covers the network cost of sending the tokens: a small fraction of a US cent, plus a small safety margin on that network fee (a percentage of that tiny fee, not of the amount you withdraw), to absorb price moves. If the destination wallet has never held TORQ, the first withdrawal to it also pays Solana's one-time token account creation, about US$ 0.30 at today's SOL price. The fee is taken out of the amount you withdraw, and the exact fee is always shown before you confirm; if it changes before the payout, the game asks you to check the new amount. Dollar figures are references: in the beta the TORQ is a test token with no value (test price).

The automatic security check#

Every withdrawal goes through the same automatic, transparent check. It gives the withdrawal a risk score from a few simple signals, and the result is one of three outcomes. The quote shows which one before you confirm.

OutcomeWhat happens
Arrives right awaySent at once.
ScheduledA countdown shows the time it is ready at: 6, 12 or 24 hours later. It is sent by itself, with no person involved and nothing for you to do. You can cancel any time before it is sent and get the TORQ back at once.
Team reviewOnly for the biggest amounts or the highest scores. The team takes a quick look, normally within about 12 hours, and you can cancel before then and get it back at once.

Examples of what can add a wait: a very new account, a first withdrawal, an amount much larger than usual, an amount above your level, a large daily total, a new location. The screen always tells you the reason in plain words ("Automatic security check: this is a new location for your account").

If a payout fails for good, the amount goes back to your in-game balance.

Trust levels#

The more you use the game normally, the more you can withdraw right away each day. Your level depends on how old your account is and how many withdrawals you have completed.

LevelAccount ageCompleted withdrawalsArrives right away, per day (test price)
Newany0up to about US$ 25
Verified3 days1up to about US$ 100
Trusted14 days3, and about US$ 100 withdrawnup to about US$ 300
Veteran45 days10, and about US$ 1,000 withdrawnup to about US$ 1,000

Amounts above your level are not refused: they become a scheduled withdrawal that is ready in 6 to 24 hours. Dollar figures are references, converted to TORQ at the game's rate; in the beta they are test prices. There are also overall daily limits, and an account flagged as linked to others stays at New. The panel shows your level and what is needed for the next one.

When withdrawals are paused#

The team can pause deposits or withdrawals for maintenance. Requests already made wait and are not lost, and the game keeps running. The panel says "Withdrawals are paused for now".

Staying safe#

  • The game never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Your wallet always asks you to approve.
  • Check the deposit address and the token your wallet shows before you approve.
  • Nobody from the team will message you first (see Safety).
