The garage

Your cars live here. Learn to browse them, pick the one that races, and what the other screens are for.

What the garage is#

The garage is your home screen: a night showroom with your selected car under the lights. Everything else in the game starts from here. You can browse your cars one by one or switch to a grid to see them all at once, and sort them (for example by performance).

Each car shows its rarity, its colour, its PI and its stats (see Cars), plus its state: fuel, tyres, engine condition, races left today and its odometer (see Service & wear and Odometer & Rebuild).

Choosing the car that races#

The car marked Selected for racing is the one that goes on the track. Change it any time from the garage. If one car has used up its races for the day, switch to another one and keep going: a player with several cars can race with all of them.

Locked cars#

A car can be locked for a reason, and the garage shows a badge: it is listed on the Market, it is in the Arena, or it was used in a Daily Tournament attempt and is waiting for that day's result. A locked car cannot be scrapped or sold, and some locks also stop it from racing or being tuned. Each page above says what its lock allows.

Controls#

Menus work with the mouse, with touch and with the keyboard (arrow keys to browse, Enter to confirm, Esc to go back). Actions that destroy or gamble, such as pressing a car or a tuning attempt, use a hold to confirm button so you cannot trigger them by accident. Music and sound effects have separate on/off buttons, and Space skips the tuning animation.

An empty garage#

Your very first car is waiting under a tarp. Open a crate to uncover it.
